A long time coming

Well, it's been a long time since I posted. We have a new president, and the economy is in the crapper. Whether Pres. Obama and the new Congress will have the depth of vision to deal with some of the international economic problems like the collapse of credit, the bankruptcy of the auto industry, the energy crisis, on top of two ongoing wars will have to be seen. The Yankees didn't make the playoffs. The Giants won the Superbowl in one of the best football seasons that I've ever watched, the NY Rangers seem to be heading for the playoffs again and the NY Knicks may turn into a team worth watching (although I'm skeptical of the last team). Next year we'll have new stadiums at Shea and in the Bronx, and people will be priced completely out of buying season tickets at Giant Stadium for both the Giants and the Jets.

That's all for now. This holiday season should also be interesting, not from a holiday or religious standpoint but from the standpoint of seeing what's left of consumer confidence.
